Cinque Terre DETOUR 

You will receive all details, reservations and itinerary guide via email following booking. Your recommended itinerary goes like this:

Day 1 - Arrival and Explore Town

 Connect into your specific town (see accommodation confirmation in Detour PDF), check in and relax overlooking the Mediterranean. Get your bearings in the town and tuck into a delicious dinner.

Day 2 - Up Early for a Hiking Day

We reommend starting the day before the heat of the sun, and pack a bottle of water because these trails are strenuous! Bring a towel and swimsuit for the beach!

Day 3 - Extra Time?

Connect out as necessaary. If you've got extra time, take the train down to Pisa for a shot in front of the famous leaning tower.

With this do-it-yourself package, all trip details and arrangements will be made for you and put together in your own customized Cinque Terre Destination Guide for you to print out or take with you on any mobile device. You'll receive pickup/departure information for your accommodation a week in advance of anticipated arrival date.

Search for cheap flights into Milan, Genova, Florence or Pisa. Use our favorite search engines to find the best prices: skyscanner.net, cheapoair.com and kayak.com. Once you find the flight you like, book directly with the airline and get ready for a great time! Book train tickets in person upon arrival, no need to book ahead of time.

You're free to depart at any time on your day of departure.

• Euros (Italy is on the Euro, plenty of ATMs in-destination too)

- Please note, this is not a guided tour. You can opt into a guided segment, but this package is designed as a do-it-yourself, independent exploration package.
- Besides when provided by the hostel, there are no meals included with this package. Depending on city and restaurant venue, you may receive free drinks and/or food at various venues, but it is not guaranteed by this package.

Voluntourism Option (SEASONAL ONLY): "Do something unique in Vernazza and make a difference: work with local farmers to restore olive groves and vineyards, build stonewalls and terracing, and harvest grapes. Learn about Vernazza with a bilingual guide. Enjoy a local picnic lunch with wine."

 Please note: As prices are standard across WSA’s products, WSA Europe reserves the right to cancel Detour bookings due to higher pricing or lack of availability as a result of local holidays. These events include but are not limited to: New Year’s and Christmas, Carnivale in Venice, King’s Day in Amsterdam and Easter in Rome. In these cases it is possible for WSA Europe to contact the customer and discuss alternative accommodation/pricing. Customers will be given the option for a full refund, or change in price only after consent from the customer.

3. Get to your destination, and we take it from there! Follow our reservations for your accommodations, itinerary, sightseeing, etc

4. Have the trip of a lifetime!

This trip is non refundable unless travel insurance is purchased at the time of booking.
