Venice DETOUR 

Use our insider guide for an incredible 3 days in the beautiful city of Venice.

Day 1 - Arrival

Spend your first day getting your bearings on this beautiful city. We'll steer you throught he curvy streets, you'll climb the Ponte Rialto, enjoy the scene of Venice's fish market, chase the pigeons in St. Mark's Square and enjoy a glassblowing demonstration at one of Venice's most prestigious galleries. Enjoy a "giro d'ombra" with our recommended tapas spots through the old town, and cap your evening with a stop in Venice's party district.

Day 2 - Exploring the Canals

Take the day for the Doge's Palace & St. Mark's Cathedral. Consider hopping on a boat our to Murano or Burano. Otherwise, get serenaded by your gondolieri as you glide effortlessly through the canals on a gondola ride.

Day 3 - Checking out the Lagoon

If you've got time, cruise across the bay to see San Giorgio and it's bell tower offering a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the Venetian lagoon.

With this do-it-yourself package, all trip details and arrangements will be made for you and put together in your own customized Venice Destination Guide for you to print out or take with you on any mobile device. Arrive anytime the day of your booking (most accommodations we use have 24hr check-in--but please confirm accurate check in times during your booking so we can confirm with the hostel or hotel ahead of time), explore the city with us, and then head out any time on the day of your departure (check out of the rooms by 10am, free luggage storage).

You are free to depart as necessary on Day 3 or 4 depending if you extend your stay.

You should bring the following on your weekend trip:

• Layers and a rain jacket (it can get wet!)
• Comfortable shoes
• A wary eye out for pickpockets
• Euros (Italy is on the Euro, plenty of ATMs in-destination too)
• & A go-getter attitude ready to tackle the ancient city!

In these cases it is possible for WSA Europe to contact the customer and discuss alternative accommodation/pricing. Customers will be given the option for a full refund, or change in price only after consent from the customer.

2. Receive your Detour Tour Package via email and reveiw your pre-planned itinerary

3. Get to your destination, and we take it from there! Follow our reservations for your accommodations, itinerary, sightseeing, etc

4. Have the trip of a lifetime!

This trip is non refundable unless travel insurance is purchased at the time of booking.
