Swiss Alps Ski/Hike DETOUR 

Fly into any of these Swiss Airports: Basel, Zurich, Geneva or Bern and make your connection into the Lauterbrunnen valley from there. Check timetables and prices for the transfers at sbb.ch/en

Day 1 includes your 2 nights accomodation. We recommend opting for 3rd night to get 2 full days of skiing or hiking in.

Opt for some of the world's top extreme sports while booking: skydiving, heli-skydiving, canyon jumping or paragliding. We'll include the contact information and discount upon booking.

In the days before your Detour starts (usually about 5 days at a minimum), we'll forward the Swiss Alps Detour destination guide including best restaurants to eat at, activities to do, discounts to our favorite activities (see below) and more. We'll also recommend where to rent gear based on where you're staying, and the destination guide outlines your skiing and adventure options.

The time is yours to decide what to do and when to do it!

Each WSA Detour is over on the third day unless you book a 3 night to extend your stay. Select "add third night" while booking in order to lock in your reservation.

It is possible to rent ski gear at the shop for a price including helmet, jacket, gloves, ski pants, boots, skis/boards and more.

- Layers - If you're skiing, bring as many layers as you can. Long underwear is definitely a good idea if you have it.

- Sunscreen - sun up on the slopes can be intense!

- Sunglasses or goggles

- Hat, gloves etc. and all the other gear you may need for a great day out on the slopes

In good weather:

- Running shoes for hiking. The hiking options are intense and extensive, but running shoes should be all you need for it.

- Sunglasses for the beautuful weather

Each WSA Detour package includes:

- Your customized WSA Detour Destination Guide

- 2 nights accommodation in our favorite hostels in the area (with an option to extend your stay should you wish)

- Options and discounts for our favorite extreme sports in the area: skydiving, heli-skydiving, canyon jumping and paragliding

- Optional Chocolate making class

WSA Detours do not include:

- Transportation

- Food (beyond the breakfast that may be provided at the hostel)

- This is a self-led package, so you show up and do your own thing. There is no guide waiting for you.

Please note: As prices are standard across WSA’s products, WSA Europe reserves the right to cancel Detour bookings due to higher pricing or lack of availability as a result of local holidays. These events include but are not limited to: New Year’s and Christmas, Carnivale in Venice, King’s Day in Amsterdam and Easter in Rome. In these cases it is possible for WSA Europe to contact the customer and discuss alternative accommodation/pricing. Customers will be given the option for a full refund, or change in price only after consent from the customer.

3. Get to your destination, and we take it from there! Follow our reservations for your accommodations, itinerary, sightseeing, etc

4. Have the trip of a lifetime!

This trip is non refundable unless travel insurance is purchased at the time of booking.
