This may be our craziest tour yet! Explore great cities in the heart of Central Europe with historic Communism backgrounds and famous beer and cuisine. We'll be going through Prague, Budapest and Krakow to get the full experience in 9 amazing days.

WSA's Central Europe Prague-Budapest Itinerary
Starting from Prague:
Day 1 -3 - Fly in and explore one of Europe's most magical cities- Prague! You're package includes Prague Castle and the Lesser Quarter then explore the old town, Jewish Quarter and you'll have tickets climb the clock tower for gorgeous views of the city
Night 3 - Take an overnight train from PRG-KRK
Day 4 - 6 - Explore Krakow's charming old town and pay your respects at Auschwitz. Opt into explore Wieliczka Salt mines. Catch an afternoon bus into Budapest
Day 7, & 8 - Head to Budapest and dive into world famous thermal baths, check out the beautiful buildings, and opt into caving
Day 9 - Your adventure is sadly over. We'll have recommendations on how to connect out of town to the airport.
If you wish to start in Budapest, this itinerary is flipped, ending in Prague. Day 1, arrival day is in Budapest, and Day 9 is in Prague.
With this do-it-yourself package, all trip details and arrangements will be made for you and put together in your own customized Best of Central Europe Destination Guide for you to print out or take with you on any mobile device.
Arrive anytime the day of your booking, explore the city, and then head out any time on the day of your departure.
By nature of being an unguided package, it will be up to you to figure things out along the way. But that's part of the joy of travel! We're available at any time via email and a skype hotline in case you need any assistance.
Your trip is over on Day 9 from the starting day of your trip. If you start in Prague, connect out of Budapest. And if you start in Budapest, fly out of Prague.
- Comfortable walking shoes and layers
- Pack as light as possible to make your transfers easy!
- Swim suit (you'll be swimming in the thermal baths in Budapest!)
- DON'T bring anything you can't afford to lose i.e. laptop, nice camera, too much cash, sentimental stuff, jewelry. Central Europe is fantastic but it comes with a pickpocketing problem. Keep that in mind at all times. If something is stolen, it's gone forever!

Important Note About Availability and Holiday Pricing Conditions
As prices are standard across WSA’s products, WSA Europe reserves the right to cancel Detour bookings due to higher pricing or lack of availability as a result of local holidays. These events include but are not limited to: New Year’s and Christmas, Carnivale in Venice, King’s Day in Amsterdam and Easter in Rome and any other festivals, concerts or events going on. In these cases it is possible for WSA Europe to contact the customer and discuss alternative accommodation/pricing. Customers will be given the option for a full refund, or change in price only after consent from the customer.

Here's how your WSA Detour works:
1. Choose the dates and destination you'd like. Pick the day you wish to START your tour of Central Europe in either Berlin OR Budapest. Our two Detour packages are the same except go in opposite order: Berlin-Prague- Krakow-Budapest or Budapest-Krakow-Prague-Berlin.
2. We'll get to work on your arrangements, and we'll send your Detour Package via email no later than 5 days before the trip (though we usually get them out much sooner).
3. Get to your starting city (Berlin or Budapest), and fly out on day 10 (from the other city)! And simply follow our reservations for your accommodations, itinerary, sightseeing, etc
4. Have the trip of a lifetime!
This trip is non refundable unless travel insurance is purchased at the time of booking.
If you find you need to cancel you can contact info@wsaeurope.com There are some cases where we can give you partial credit towards another WSA trip. The amount of this credit will depend on how many reservations we have already confirmed and paid for.
